Sandboxels is a free browser-based falling sand simulation game where creativity and science come together. Experiment with heat, electricity, density, chemical reactions, fire, cooking, and much more, all within an interactive pixel world.

With more than 400 unique elements available, you can mix materials, grow plants, observe animals, create weather systems, and discover thousands of fascinating interactions between liquids, powders, gases, and solids.

As part of the popular falling-sand game genre, Sandboxels simulates individual particles in real time, allowing complex and often surprising behaviors to emerge naturally from simple actions.

Getting started is easy. Choose a category such as Liquids, select an element like Water, then click, tap, or drag across the canvas to place particles. Watch as they react, transform, and interact with the world around them.

Sandboxels is also a valuable educational tool. Through hands-on experimentation, players can explore concepts from chemistry, biology, ecology, geology, physics, environmental science, and even epidemiology. It offers an engaging way to learn how complex systems behave and evolve.
